Do Marriage and Family Therapists meet with individuals?  Almost 70% of my clients are individuals.  What sets us apart from other counselors is we are trained not only to look at the individual, but also other close relational dynamics that help maintain the problem.  In creating lasting change, the individual will not only need to change themselves, but also create change in the environment to maintain those positive gains.

I use common therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I am also trained in other forms of therapy.   I also have specific training in trauma counseling  (Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Parts and Memory Therapy (P&MT)).  The most success comes from adapting to the needs of each person.  I am flexible and personal in my approach.
